Dr. Steve Miller
Dr. Steve Miller graduated from the Ohio State College of Dentistry and has practiced in our beautiful mountains for more than 20 years. Steve and his great staff worked diligently to develop a practice where patients can receive dental care in a calm environment from caring, experienced professionals. Over the years, Steve has developed a love for cosmetic, restorative, and reconstructive dentistry. His passion overflows into coworkers and pours out in patient care.
Dr. Miller considers himself to be a lifetime learner. He maintains a busy continuing education schedule and has many postgraduate achievements, including:

Steve has served as president of Buncombe County Dental Society, he recently completed a term on the board of the American Academy of Dental Practice Administration, and he is also on the board of Directors of WCQS. Steve and his wife Barbara have three lovely daughters, Lauren, Abby, and Cassie.

Patti, Office Administrator
I have been a member of Dr. Miller’s team since 1997. I will most likely be the first person you speak with and see at Dr. Miller’s office. I enjoy helping our patients with scheduling, reviewing financial options, and taking care of insurance matters for their dental needs. I am married to Terry and have a son Aaron, a daughter Kristin, and two Jack Russell Terriers, Shelby and Bear. I enjoy snow skiing and water skiing, traveling, riding my Harley, and spending time with my family.
Brenda, Dental Hygienist
I have been a member of Dr. Miller’s team since March 1998. I graduated from Guilford Technical Community College in Jamestown, NC in 1987. I enjoy working at Dr. Miller’s office because the atmosphere is upbeat, exciting, and fun, and at the same time our team provides the highest quality dental care. When I’m not busy at the office, my husband Marty and I are actively involved in our local church and are busy with the operation of our farm. We breed and train Peruvian horses and enjoy doing any activity that takes us outdoors in the beautiful mountains of WNC.
Darlene, Dental Assistant
I have been with Dr. Miller’s practice since 1999, and I graduated from AB Tech in 1992. I enjoy all aspects of dental assisting, from making pretty temporary crowns to seeing a patient’s smile changed with cosmetic dentistry. I am married to my wonderful husband Michael and have a son, Austin. I enjoy boating, camping, and hiking. My favorite hobby is dried and silk flower arranging.
Sarah, Dental Assistant
I moved from Indiana to Asheville in 2000 and began working for Dr. Miller in 2004. I enjoy working with the great patients in our practice and helping them achieve optimum dental health. In my free time, I enjoy the outdoors, watching movies, reading, and taking long naps.
Stephanie, Dental Hygienist
I joined Dr. Miller’s team upon my 1992 graduation from AB Technical Community College. I feel my job is vital to helping our patients maintain their exceptional dental work, and I enjoy my relationships with our patients. I am married to Johnny, who is employed by the Asheville Fire Department. I have a son, Seth, and two boxers, Terk and Angel. I enjoy singing, shopping, and mostly spending time with my family. I am an active member of Riverside Baptist Church and spend most of my time working with our youth.
